Greenhead Leasing has approximately 1,800 acres of timber, pasture, and row crop ground in eastern Kansas. Nearly 1,000 acres is made up of river and creek bottom ground with timber borders and the balance is timbered hills and pasture with ponds and creeks running through it. Deer and turkey numbers and size remain high due in part to the low number of animals taken each year. This number is determined using population surveys in the spring and the previous years successful hunts. Our private leases entitle the hunter access to every acre all season long. You may hunt on your own schedule, as often as you like, anywhere you like. A simple phone call the day before the hunt ensures that you will not be disturbed by other hunters walking in and jeopardizing your hunt. Our staff conducts all the habitat and population management necessary to ensure you a memorable hunting experience. We also provide information on lodging, camping, and dining options available in the area. We hope to have a few new waterfowl leases available in the fall of 2005. These will be farm ponds that have a history of challenging wing shooting and fairly predictable flight paths. Our leases come with roomy comfortable blinds for your exclusive use. Decoys and blind heaters can be provided for those who want to finish out a successful deer hunt with some picture perfect greenhead shooting.
